feeling it

I wonder if anyone out there has these symptoms-I don't try to loose weight erveryday but I do diet everyday. I eat with alot of rules- don't eat bread more than once a day, don't eat after **** p.m., don't eat fruit-the sugar is too fattening, don't eat two main courses at once (i.e. surf n' turf) et. al. I fear gaining weight. I am only now coming to terms with my eating disorder. I ealize the rules don't get me anywhere and I don't get to let loose and enjoy life. My hubby doesn't acknowledge my problem-he thinks I am disciplined (hah!) Therapists don't know about it. I am going to solve it on my own.

Are you seriously underweight? Don't get periods? Because that is life threatening, and you really should seek some help. If you are not that, maybe you are just disciplined, but if you are tired of it, and can't quit doing it, it is a problem in the head. Just ease up on yourself. Keep your eating plan, but add a little here and there, still eat healthy, exercise moderately, and just have the goal to be as healthy an individual as you can be. That could give you a little better peace of mind.

hey "feeling it"
I totally totally have some of what you have.. my bf also thinks im just diciplined and really energeic ( becuae I excersie a lot every day) but yeah i have rules and actualy special ways of eating certain stuff - believe me that is not diciplined, that is not normal... but maybe the therapists you hva ehad experienced ith just didnt know but there definitly are some out there who can help you, dont give up - Ive ben trying to solve this on my own for over seven miserable years.. it doesnt work real well.. and ive finally broken down and im gonna have to get help...
and yeah its silly too, i wont eat fruit im too worried abotu the sugar but then fruit it healthy.. skinny peopel eat lots of it all the time... so my thinking is so irrational, yet i serisouly cannot change myself alone.
Don down play what you have, rules are too restricitng and that can lead to other problems such as anorexia or some weird ocd stuff... keep posting here though, your thoughts are definielty validated
