I came across this list of famous people who became politicians. If I've missed anyone, feel free to add to it. This is only a list of those elected, not those who ran, with the exception of Shirley Temple Black who was appointed.

Interesting that, at least from this list, there are more republicans than democrats to anyone complaining :winky.

Ribbon,

I am sorry to inform you that Nancy Culp was never elected to Congress. She lost that election. I remember when she ran. I was still in school and I remember seeing signs around my school with "that Beverly Hillbillies lady" on them (I thought that was cool). Ah the fond memories of childhood.

I guess that's one less Democrat for your list.
