while i have not experienced this, i have heard of it.. if its an actual fear, it might be helpful to see a therapist or child psychiatrist. i hope things get better for you, your son, and your whole family! take care lotsa :love

Please do not be frightened away. Food phobia is a form of disordered eating. This is indeed the basis of my own ED.

There is usually a deep seated reason as to why a child becomes phobic of food. It usually begins as a fear of vomiting, which manifests itself as a food phobia.
