Thanks to the Irish lass who started this thread on location from :cloverIreland:clover
My best St. Paddy's Day ever was back in eighty-six (I'm old) when I marched in THE St. Pat's Day parades in both Limerick and Dublin. It was wall to wall people in Dublin the whole parade route, and I remember it being much too long since I had no stamina. I also remember how fast the people in Dublin spoke, and coupled with the brogue, I honestly couldn't understand what people were saying to me.
PS The leprechaun came to my classroom today with his chocolate gold. Oh, the joys of childhood. They were so SURE he was hiding in the closet, and some kids still report hearing him in there despite the fact that I knocked and opened the door, but we didn't see the leprechaun running away "since he's invisible." Riiiiiiiiight!
When I was in Ireland, I bought a bumper sticker that said, "I brake for leprechauns." :clover

I've been in the Washington, DC parade for the last few years with my dance school and in high school I marched in it with the pipe band. The weather is usually cold and rainy - very Irish!

I was given a little leprachaun stik on tatoo on that nite and i've still got it as a silly reminder. Sorry, St Paddys day always makes me :grin heehehe :shy :rainbow
