OUCH!!! I've had my impacted wisdom teeth removed(a long time ago:ohboy) and I know how you're feeling right now. Did they give you pain medicine? The only good advice I can give you is follow to the letter what your Dentist told you to do once you got home(like if you need to rinse with salt water, or use a syringe). I didn't and had to go through weeks of pain and follow up visits.
A gentle :gimmehug for you. Take care of yourself.

I had mine out last Christmas, and my best suggestion is sleep. My meds did it for me, but i basically slept through the first three days afterwards. I just rented a bunch of movies and camped out on the couch and played them over and over again because i feel asleep during them anyway, so i never got to see the whole thing. :winky Make sure you get some nutrition into yourself through things like smoothies. I hope you start feeling better soon! :gimmehug

I just got mine out in feb and it sucked soo much. my advice: don't use it as an excuse to restrict. i kinda did that and ended up bingeing majorly when i could eat again. i hope you feel better soon! rent some movies and have some friends over.

I'm twenty two and I haven't even had mine out. But, I had two molars extracted and one root canal a couple months ago. (purging damaged my teeth)
The root canal was a four or five step process where I had to have seperate appointments so I was in pain on and off for months. Ugh..take care sweetie! It will start feeling better by the end of the week! Sleep a lot and take pain meds. They make you sleepy but help with the pain! If not call your doc. and let them know if it doesn't work. They can try something else. They had to do that for me.

I remember having my wisdom teeth out, three in one go.
Basically i had salt baths i think it was for the wounds, lots of ice packs for the bruising around my face ( i looked like a chipmunk for a week:sarcasm) and lots of soft and smooth kiddies yogurt and as cocobean said - rent a lot of movies!!!
Be kind to yourself hon
hi there,
i hope you are doing well. i had my wisdom teeth out and it was one of the most un pleasant things ever. my advice to you is to follow what your dentist tells you. do the rinses and syringe things and everything. another thing, dont be afraid to start opening up your mouth even though it may be very uncomfortable. i was in so much pain, i kept my mouth shut for **** days and my jaw got so tight they were going to have to pry it open!!!. so get it moving as soon as you can, cause you can imagine thats not that comfortable! good luck and i hope your feeling good. :supergrin
