Just interested to know if any of you :fishy s have ever been to Greenbelt?

I have and found it really inspiring. There was such an open atmosphere and loads of room for questions.

Also interested to know if anyone is going this year ???

My friend is a youth worker and he invited me to go along with his wife.

I'm quite a new Christian though, and haven't yet found a church and stuff. I get really frightened of people who have been brought up in religion so I am too scared to go. I was considering it though.

I know at least one other fishy who is going.

And I am not going in the end. I don't think I can afford too, plus the other reason. Chicken? Oh yeah! But don't think I don't face up to other challenges. . .

I have never been to greenbelt but have friends who go every year and wouldnt miss it. They really enjoy it and get alot out of it. Sometimes they say more than church.
Have a great time at g'belt. Hope the weather stays dry and warm for you all.

I am hopeing to go for the day on Saturday or Sunday, i've been a few times before and really enjoyed it, this year will be my first as a Christian so I will enjoy it even more.

I just wanted to say that Greenbelt is not a place you need to be scared of going. There are not only people that have been brought up in religion there. There are all sorts of people there and it is somewhere it is OK to have questions and stuff. I would say it is a good place for a new Christian. There is plenty to do, like looking round market stalls, art, listening to bands, speakers. I appreciate the mix. I find very full-on conferences too difficult to cope with but Greenbelt is relaxed. Somewhere to be me.
