Heylittle :fishy,

What does this quote mean to you??????

The journey in between what you once were and who you are now is where the dance of life really takes place.

Hi Becky ,

To me . . . it is the essence of life itself.

Each stride we dance
we release

with each moment we touch the ground
we arrive . . . knowing the fleeting nature of it

all of this done in endless motion
the dance of creation

Each day, we grow and change. I am no longer the person I was yesterday, and I will be different again when I wake up tomorrow. :sun Even though I'm just starting to work through my ED :edbgone, each day is a lesson in remembering what it was like to truly live each day. The fight is hard, but each day I'm learning the strength I have inside. :ican

That quote reminds me of Life is what happens when you're making other plans. Life is a journey, not a destination. It's okay to struggle in the middle. You haven't learned to live unless you've learned to wait. And one of my favorites is....Life is a school and problems are the curriculum.

The dance of life in between is what "living" is all about. Life is short. Living, learning and loving. The middle part to me is putting it all into practice.

To me, personally, it's about changing a life-long process. You are a certain person, and thru experineces and lessons and circumstances you become who you are...and my fishy friends is what life is all about. :supergrin

Thanks for your input,,i may do this again. :happy

That is beautiful Becky! :happy

So much truth and so much to think on in that single phrase.

When we cease to try and change, we stop growing and life becomes stale and stagnant. The sense of wonder vanishes.

As a child I never wondered who I was. I just knew. I was me. And that was whatever I felt like being that day. And somewhere along the way I began to allow myself to be defined by other people's definitions of me. I lost my belief in myself and soon I even forgot who I was.

Who we are is not a static thing, nor should it be. We should be growing and changing with every day, every moment. I will be whomever I please. I will be Erasmus and Cleopatra, a goddess, I will be Athena, and I will be a child, and I will be a scientist and a poet, and I will be all of these things because they are ALL me, and to limit yourself to what you think you 'should' be rather than what you 'could' be is truly the saddest thing in the world.

Throw away limitations. The journey never ends and you can go anywhere if you only believe. Every day will take us somewhere new if we allow it, and this is what makes life amazing and beautiful. When you define yourself you limit yourself because you come to believe you are a certain way and thus must be a certain way.

Leave room for growth and change. Find beauty in the definitions that matter. You are not your age or name or who your parents are or any externals. You are... someone who may like the play of light reflected from a prism. Someone who loves the warmth of the sun on their face. Someone who likes caves and ladybugs and spaceships and laughter. These things define you. And they are all part of the journey, things you pick up a long the way, and the truest indicators of yourself. And they will always be changing like the prism, and this is what makes them beautiful and makes YOU beautiful. And life beautiful, for you ARE life. :flower

Life is a neverending journey...
we are always changing, learning, growing, feeling, experiencing, and feeling...
Take chances, experience new things, try something different...
Be your authentic self...for that is who you were meant to be...

this is a great quote!!! it reminds me that i may not like the person i used to be (especially the ed part that lied to people soooo much), but that because i was that person that i didn't like, i am making changes to become someone i am proud to be, and i am learning a lot about myself in the process. i am growing every single day, and things just keep getting better and better! thanks for the fun post!
lotsa luv,

That quote is awsome:winky
I think it means:idea that the dance is life...kinda like the song The Dance by Garth....
What you do from the beginning.....who you are...to what you do now......is all part of life and the dance.....you take the lessons learned the paths taken (or not taken) and become who you presently are today......and that has made you are who you are :notes

I think a dance is full of creativity, movement, inspiration, and it changes as it goes on.....i think that is exactly what life is intended to be......

I bought the CD......I hope You Dance....and gave it to my son.....Well, he is twenty-one mos....but i put in a safety box....because that is exactly the way i feel about him and his life....i'm always singing it to him :happy
But, i think the :bowl needs to hear that song and take it to heart:love! It gives the whole meaning of life and its purpose!
