An ethereal craving

Brave, brave hunter entrenched in genteel
sunlight, mother of night, deep surrender,
virtuous valor conveyed within the arms
of a raven, black, cleansing feathers
perched above heaven, crying,
waiting in silence, ethereal silence.
she’s speculative, enticing, thundering in spirit—
fathomed innocence hiding and scorned,
boundless ice dreamers submerged in woe,
pale banshee preying for transience
in a translucent flora, ephemeral fancy dweller,
she, lingering far behind, lost whisperer,
heathen dancer, exotic panther,
coloring the sky with language, propriety,
To her forest of faces, illusive paintings reigning down,
a cave in her lungs, breathlessness.
An echo in her eyes, a tongue where
savage creatures recline, deities dying
to take her through the waves, crashing forecaster.
Soft, savory sea fellow, salty, salty air.
With a pearl between two fingers,
A fire seething vogue, solitary craver,
This hazy, hazy sabbatical,
Trapped in clichéd blasphemy,
Callously.
