for the last couple of months I have been writing a lot, mostly lyrics to some soon-existent music that me and a friend of mine have been working on..
here is one piece that I wrote recently.


drop dead ocean karma

in between I find those itches and release you from the spell
and what is there for me? what makes me crawl the floor?
and soothe your nothings? and try to catch your little somethings?
in between I bruise my skin and scratch and scratch and
never win and keep my eyes glued to the ground

it’s the sound of breaking bones the tones of your voice and
your purple-framed eyes that haunt me that stare at me
when I’m not looking you’re flaming through the window
what sort of story are we in? we’ll find a wall to hide behind
we’ll be atoms and karma tonite we’ll shift our pain from side to side

in between you drown your head and some will say you’ll soon drop dead and what is there for me? you make me all
sound and glory I’ll make you sea and ocean until we’ve lost track
