Sorry this is my second post here in one night, I guess it's ok considering this is my second post here ever! :sarcasm

This poem I wrote a few years ago. I used to be involved with animal rights, nothing bad though. I have strong beliefs and like to stick up for them. Now I've settled down a bit though, although I still stond by my beliefs.

This poem I wrote to inspire myself, and others, to stick up for their beliefs. It's not specifically about animal rights, just beliefs in general.

It was printed in my school's creative writing journal a few years ago, and the UK animal rights group Animal Aid (of which I am a member) also printed it in their journal Outrage in the Youth Rage poetry section, I was so proud! :happy

Revolution Song

Hey I'm tired of whispering
And crawling on the groud
Now I'm going to stand up tall
I'm going to sing it loud

Maybe I'm outspoken
But I have legs to stand
I see an outrage with my eyes
I want to change this land

Other people hide away
Don't want to hear the truth
Just care about their little lives
Prefer to waste their youth

I don't want to be like them
I want to see some change
I feel I have a role to play
And nothing's out of range

I'm going to save the future
I'm going to grow up strong
I want to world to hear my voice
So will you sing along?
