the beach...a poem about nothing at all!!

i want to let go
to feel the chill
of every wave
the sand under
my feet
and to experience
the happiness

But my feet
are stuck in the sand
entrenched by the
movement of
every wave

deeper
deeper
i cannot move
waves break
against my skin
i cannot move

i stare into
the distance
an ocean is
before me
i want to swim
but i am
anchored
to the beach

Its not about nothing. Its about being able to see a future but being unable to move towards it. Its about being "stuck" in the confines of an ed, but yearning for so much more.

Entrenched in the processes of your mind and resulting behaviours to the point that any movement forward or backwards is impossible.

Its about the futility and the frustration that we can feel.
