I have quite a few books that I am going to read. "Insatiable", "Ravenous", "Hunger Point", and "Kelly's Last Chance"
Anyone ever read any of these books? What did you think?

jessica,
i haven't read any of them...usually i read books that are more like self help or affirmations rather than stories on eds, as i tend to compare myself w/ the people in them... :ugh
let us know how you like them!

I read Insatiable...I thought it was pretty good, and I read Hunger Point, I also liked it. Don't know what you are looking for out of these books, so I guess it just depends on you and your intentions whether or not you will like them.

I read Hungerpoint and Insatiable. I recently bought Ravenous and that is my next one. I think Eve Eliot is a pretty good writer. I actually e mailed her to compliment her about Insatiable. It's a quick read and it is really good. Hungerpoint was also very good. I wasn't too crazy about the movie, but the book goes into much more detail (which is usually the case). I am curious about Kelly's Last Chance..I have never heard of it. Always interested in hearing about a new book idea..Hope you enjoy/or enjoyed if you already read them (not sure when this post was written, :ummm )..Love Lauren :love

I have read both Insatiable and Ravenous by Eve Eliot. They were both easy reads and I also found them to be quite encouraging of recovery. Although, at points both of them can be a bit triggery. I haven't read Kelly's last chance or hunger point, so I can't be of any help there, but I may look them up.
Enjoy your reading!!!!!!!
I've read (and have) Hunger Point, as well as (owning) wasted and Life-Size, as well as reading Stick-figure, Starving for Attention, a fiction book (Nell's Quilt i think its called - its not an all out ED book, but its main character does starve herself - which i found out once i started reading it - i was reading it cause it was based in the eighteen hundrends :grin)- and yes - these books can be very triggering - or it gives me a very different prespective - depending on how well i am doing at the time.... so i am hoping what you are looking for in there is not something to tigger and worsen yourself with them...
Which is why i perfer the Harry Potter books :grin :supergrin

I read Hunger Point before my anorexia really took off - it triggered me like crazy, just a heads up. :sad I haven't read the others though... let us know what you think if you read them.
