What Do You Do For Fun??

My therapist, is big into the taking care of you thing. She always tells me that I take good care of people and of my students. So, she put forth a :challenge to take care of me. I am working on this.

She asked me today, "Kate, what do you do that's fun"? Well, being me, I had to sit there and think about it fun? Do I know what that it anymore. I remember when I was really little and I used to do things that I thought were fun. However, when I started living in the world of eating disorders it became hard to do things that were fun. I think somewhere along the way I forgot what fun was.

So, my question to you :fishy ies is what do you do for fun? Does anyone else have trouble comprehending that word?

:rainbow I guess for fun I am going to go out bowling on New Years Eve with my husband and friends.

Two days ago I played badmitten for the first time.....it was SOOOO much FUN!!!!:cheesy I am really not very good and we didn't use a net, but it really is fun to hit the bird around and be able to laugh at yourself when you aren't very good. Playing tennis is pretty good for a laugh too :muhaha!!! I'll have to think :ummm about other fun things that I do....

:peep Reading! I'm a total bookworm :slimy and at the moment I'm reading Dracula (Stoker), the Magician (Feist), and The Case for Faith (Strobel), all at the same time! You'd think I'd learn not to do that by now, but no. I feel like a bookshelf has crashed into my head or something! *Crash* OUCH!

:dog Take my beautiful (and cheeky...) puppy (who's going on twelve years old...) for a walk! Tuffy is a white and tan papillion whose very small, but very tough! Don't you go telling him otherwise! :muhaha

PS: I :love Badminton too, Camellia! It's so "fun" hehehe. I do it for school, and at all the training sessions and matches I play with this inane smile ingrained into my face the entire time. It's rather ridiculous! :muhaha
