Yes yes, I know I said I wouldn't be back and this is all I intend to post but I desperately need to find a copy of the book Kessa, by Steven Levenkron. I have searched high and low all over the internet and at the local book stores and no one has it. I found a few places online that had it but they were asking sooo much for it. Is there anyone on here who has an extra copy of the book or who doesn't need their copy anymore? I'd be willing to pay twenty dollars for it. You can respond here or e-mail me at alliegator(one nine eight three)@hotmail.com Thanks so much!

I haven't got Kessa, I've only got Best Little Girl in the World... I take it that's not what you wanted? I didn't realise there was a second book!

Sorry can't help you :ugh have you tried Ebay?

Thanks so much. Yup, it's the sequal to Best Little Girl in the World. There aren't any on eBay when I checked last. Half.com has some but for an insanely high price. :ohboy

i also got Kessa from the local library. If you can't find it at your branch, try inter-library loan. Though i understand wanting to read the sequel, in my opinion, it wasn't all that good. In fact, i didnt really think Best Little Girl was that good either...

However, good luck with your search. i really bet you can find it at the library (or the library can find it for you).

Hey Allie:bug -
I went on to http://www.amazon.com and looked up Kessa - on that site it is reported out of print and the price starts at sixty one dollars and fifty cents! I'm sorry I don't have any better news - I hope that helps! take care :love amyb

As you know, I really want to read it too.

I think getting it on inter-library loan is a great suggestion! When I lived in Greenwich, I actually got a book on inter-library loan once all the way from Arizona :sun! I might have a go at getting it when I get to Reed :usa.

inter library loans are a good idea, but you could also try Barnes and Noble's website. You can order books over the internet from them. Same with amazon.com

good luck

Thanks everyone for writing. I can't afford the books on amazon.com and Barnes & Noble doesn't have any. I was thinking of doing an inter library loan because my library doesn't have it but the online search engine has a database with all of the other libraries and no one else has it either. I'll have to call and see if someone can work some magic. I read Best Little Girl and I just really really want to read the second one :winky
