I dyed my hair red!!

To start a new year, changing my looks, and feeling like a new person, I changed my hair color!!! My hair is dark blond and now is red!! it is so cool!!!:bounce :hairy ( for me, and this is the IMPORTANT!!!!) My mom hates it, but I liked

I have never dyed my hair, but I have done some drastic hair cuts. My hair grows really fast and often I let it go down to the lower part of my back. A lot of people comment on how thick and pretty my hair is. I grow it long and than get it chopped of and donate it to locks of love where they use the hair to make wigs for children who are sick and don't have enough money to buy wigs :touched. A lot of people are shocked because I get it cut to my shoulders and their used to it being long and braided :happy.

I've tried... but I have weird hair, even the strongest color (even from a hairstylist) doesn't last long. Like when it's supposed to grow out and to wash out, the colour is gone after about two weeks in my case. It's frustrating.

I tried bright red a few weeks ago - and ended up with a tiny tiny shine if copper. :ugh

But I'm so glad you like your new color! :yay

I :love to change my hair color too. I have had red, burgundy, auburn...normally, I have medium brown hair. I think the color is fun b/c I can express something with it.

I just so happen to have a bottle of a hair colour called Red Night (Very dark blackish red) waiting to be applied today.

(:ummm If I can get the courage up to be drastic!)

SO good to hear that I am not the only crazy here :muhaha. Actually my hair is more like copper then red, but I plan to dye more!!!!!

Yay!! I love hair color! I have been BRIGHT red to a very deep burgandy deal going on, and then very light blonde. All sorts. My natural color is quite mousy. This time at the hairdresser we warmed up my blonde highlights with some gingery red...it's like my dad's was before he went grey...so I'm SORT of a redhead right now. I guess it's a light red brown. I LOVE it.

Everyone says it looks natural. I just know it sets off my eyes. :winky

Licorice - I'm growing my hair out now to donate it to locks of love - i think it is such a great cause!
Right now I'm growing out highlights that are a medium light brown and my hair is naturally a darkish mousier brown - I'm going to grow it now but then dye it again later i guess!

ive never dyed my hair a totally different color, but my hair (dark brown) has streaks of color in it now. blonde and red.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to throw in another comment about Locks of Love. The first I ever had my hair cut (not just trimmed) I was in eighth grade and I donated my hair to them and it was so great knowing someone would get use out of it.

Also, I want to dye my hair, but I think instead, I'll go get highlights that are a little thicker than my old ones.
