:snowman i like snow every now and then. i wouldn't want to live where it snows. but it's fun to play around in or walk through--pretty white blankets covering everything

:snowman we've traveled to go skiing during the snow season. we went to resorts in northern california

:snowman i don't do many winter sports. i like watching ice skating on tv :antenna i learned how to ski in sixth grade and did that for a couple of years. then when i lived with my cousins for a year, i skiied with them on the weekends. that's about it

Describe your earliest or most favorite winter memory
:snowman i remember when i was little, every year an animal-theme park called marine world would have a snow world and they'd bring in all this snow and there'd be a huge hill to sled down and ski lessons. it was so fun!!

:present I remeber being three and playing in the snow with my sisters making snowmen, having snow ball fights, and making snow angels. We came in from the cold to a warm house and had hot chocolate in front of the fireplace and curled up together. :happy

I miss :sad not having snow ( I now live in rainy :uk) Especiall cozy fireside nights while snow is falling.

:sly Most of my holidays have been in Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Sweden, Scotland.

I adore :love Cross-country skiing :love. (Ice-Skating can be fun too)

I dislike :ummm competitive and costly/commercial (downhill skiing) winter sports, or nature destroying (ie snowmobiling) winter sports.

:flake Diving head first into the snow drifts whenever a car drove past down my childhood Wisconsin country road. (or :dolphin jumping off the barn roof into the snow drifts)
:flake Building snow tunnels and full sized igloos.
:flake Building snowmen :snowman.
:flake Snow Days and blizzards (:ummm only when I was safe and cosy in my home and not driving at the time).
:flake Cross country ski days out with family and friends.

I love the weather (no snow where I am) but I love storm clouds and the rain - it balances me out. The worst - the same really :ummm I get frustrated when I want to be outside in the fresh air and its a tad too wet!

Yeh I don't mind it. Don't see much of it though.

Last Christmas I trecked off to Europe to escape the :sun here! :grin Some may find that a little nuts....

I don't mind them... snowboarding is :cool. I watched the Salt Lake Olympics... and learnt heaps from Roy & HG (TV Comedic Aus legends - "The Ice Dream") .... :muhaha

I don't remember, but apparently I've had some good (well interesting) holidays trapped at my grans in Scotland by huge snow drifts...

Worst = being even more cold to the bone than I generally am :ugh the dark, dull, rainy days. Miserable :ugh

Yes ... but we hardly ever get any, and when we do it's only a few flakes :sad

No, but I'd like to ... either somewhere sunny and warm to avoid the winter completely ... or somewhere which has lots of snow!

Earliest? waking up on Christmas Eve and creeping downstairs to find Santa putting pressies under the tree! :supergrin But seen as how people keep trying to convince me Santa doesn't exist :surprise and that it was in fact dad dressed up ... I guess it's a bit of a false memory ... so instead, I'd have to say going sledging with my friends on the local golf course one year when we had loads of snow!
Favouritest? putting up our xmas tree. Always!

The best? The cool air. I love it! Its so awesome to head out for a jog early in the morning. It gives reason to wearing big, fluffy, baggy clothes. Also, more warm food! The worst? Well, on those delightful runs, its can also redden and dry my face. Its hard to picnic when its freezing, and warming up the car.

Yes I like it. Its easy for me to, since in Louisiana its a treat rather than a daily thing. Its neat and fun. Everyone here forgets how to drive and freaks out with just an inch of snow. You get on the phone and call people to talk about it and take pictures of the snowmen you scraped together.

There is so much variety that there's really no point in leaving, you could have your favorite weather tomorrow. I would love to go to Hawaii right now, it is kind of chilly here :cute.

I like winter sports. I've never really participated in them because of where I live. There is a lot of road racing done in the winter and I like that. I like to watch the winter sports. We have an ice hockey team here, and that's fun to watch.

My earliest would have to be building a snowman with my mother and sister in the front yard of the old house. My most favorite winter memory, gosh lots: retreats in little cabins, fishing, Christmas, sipping excellent hot chocolate, catching snowflakes with my tongue on New Year's with an old best friend, many more.

What's the best part about winter overall? Why? The worst? Why? Best- The cold makes me know I'm alive it's invigorating. Worst- the ice I've already fallen about a zillion times luckily escaping serious injury so far

Have you ever traveled to get to (or away) from winter weather? Why? Where did you go? Yep Park City Utah to learn to ski. It's dry snow. Michigan snow is wet with ice underneath and hard to learn how to ski on therefore

Do you like winter sports? Why or why not? What kinds do you like/dislike? Yep skiing is fun but I think I like cross-country skiing best if I'm going to do it. I love ice skating to watch it's so graceful.

Describe your earliest or most favorite winter memory. Walking out of the mall and breathing in and the feeling of the sharp cold bitter air filled my lungs and just made me feel so alive. I think this is why I love winter so much. You can keep the ice though!
