What's the SWEETEST thing anyone's ever said to you?
The sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me...well, it wasn't something he said, just a gesture really, but it meant so much at the time. This guy I know has this thing he does with his friends, like a secret handshake, almost, but it's not a handshake and it's not secret...kinda a gesture of affection, seeing as that's as affectionate as some guys can be. Anyway, I asked him if he told anyone about my ED (I blurted it out before and I didn't want anyone to know) and he said no, he'd never betray a confidence like that. A really tense moment passed, I felt really vulnerable and scared, and then...he did the handshake thing, and that tiny little gesture meant more than any hug or any words could have. And it still makes me smile.
Well? :challenge Who's next?
Luv ya,
Lynda :vroom

My four year old daughter likes to be right ny my side so much of the time. One day I was tired and said, probabaly not too nicely, "why do you always have to be right by me?" She answered so sweetly, "Because I like you Mommy."

I think one of the sweetest things was either J or A. I said to A that I didnt feel worthy of hugs so she started this little hug substitute(handshake thing)-:touches me every time Also J was talking about going to see him and said 'im sure A(diferent) would like to see u too' and i said 'if he remembers me' and he said'once seen never forgotten :love I can think of other things so i feel soooo grateful for having lots to write here :shy

:bouncethe other day i was having a really terrible day and i got a call from some good friends that i live far from and rarely talk to (like...very rarely) and one of them asked why i never called. i told her it was because my life was kinda shitty these days and i didn't want to be a downer. you know what she said? "but that's why you should call us, so we can cheer you up!!" and she was so sincere about it, it just made me :grin
:bouncewhen i was getting off the phone with my dad the other day, he said "i :love you to pieces." SO not the kind of thing my dad normally says. made my day.
those are just two of the things that have really :touched me in the past few days.

Sounds very simple but my two year old daughter is so sweet in the little things she is learning to say. Every time she says "I ruv you, mommy" or "thank you mommy" any time I do ANYTHING for her melts my heart. Nothing can even compare to her sincere and innocent sweetness :cute
