I'm kinda new to this forum, I found it while searching for my name on the Internet. Some people know me here, I guess.

Getting used to the smiles, wow you guys use them a lot. :ummm Anyway, I was wondering if it's like, OK if I post here. Because this looks like a forum for women (I'm a guy) and I don't want to push into anything with which I cannot relate if you know what I mean.

I don't know if that makes any sense; I guess I'm more concerned about compromising my man-hood, hehehe.

hello special :stars....

I'm curious as to which part of "Something Fishy Website for Eating Disorders" is part of your name that you were searching on the internet? :supergrin

And, this isn't a "forum for women".....it might be basically comprised of women, but it's not FOR women. It's for people who struggle with their eating habits.....

I'm trying to figure out how to reassure you that your man-ness is just fine here.....I guess they don't have a :scratch or :remotecontrolhog smilie.....(joking! joking!!...lame stereotypes, I know.....)

Anyway, you're totally welcome here. I look forward to seeing you around.

:bluefishy.

Hi Specialpsu...Of course you can post here. This is not a gender-specific site, nor is it a gender-specific disease. The people here are so amazing and everyone cares so much for everyone here. I would be interested in hearing what you have to say. Welcome.

The real reason, I guess, that I'm concerned is because of some falling out I had with the :fishy who posted my name. I'm not pleased with what was posted at all (about me), but it was posted before I came here, so it's cool. Besides, I'm pretty sure that if you did read it you would pretty much assume that I am a woman-hating, mean SOB. The other reason is that this :fishy may or may not take legal action against me (I'm not kidding) for even posting here. I guess I will just trust that she can understand I am here because I, too, feel that I can get some help from the :fishy in the :bowl (I hope I'm getting these icons right, from what I've seen.)

Anyway, I just figured I'd post to tell everyone that I'm overweight and trying to figure a way out of that. It seems like everyone here is very nice and hopefully the rest of the :fishy in the :bowl can get this :fishy on track.[edited by Kensington]
