When i got up this morning, i heard the news. It is MIRACULOUS! Thank You God!

I am so happy for them and their families.

I am amazed at all the work it took to get to them. Without any other example to use, the rescuers jumped in. Even when there wasn't any proof of the minors still being alive, the rescuers didn't get discouraged. When the drill bit broke, they found another way. No obstacle got in their way. They pushed and persevered until they DID IT!

they RECOVERED nine men.

That's what i'm going to do with my recovery.
I will persevere past the obstacles. I will not allow discouragement to stop me. I will go on even when there isn't proof that i will make it. I will keep going until the job is done.

I'm inspired with this news report.

It's so wonderful that they were found alive and safe. I also found the story of how they kept each other warm and cheered up to be inspiring.

It's amazing what we can do when we are faced with such situations.

We prayed for their safety, and have never been so happy as when all were out, alive and well considering circumstances.

Finally a happy ending to a news story!!

:yay Yeah! :yay

This whole ordeal was such an emotional rollercoaster. I am so thankful that all the men were found alive and rescued. I pray that the families will be able to heal from this enormous scare. I cannot even imagine what those families/miners were feeling/thinking as all of this unfolded.

Thank you Jesus for this wonderful recovery!

:love,

I cried when I heard they had all made it out alive. I was suprised, I didn't think they would make it, that it would be just another blow to America's people. I called up to the restaurant where I work to tell every one the good news.

Did anyone else watch the DATELINE special on the miners and the heroes of Flight ninety-three---good grief I couldn't stop crying.

I hope this inspires heroic effort in all of us when and if the time unfortunatly comes.

:bibri I really like how God was glorified in all of this. The media reports all included the word "miracle," and any interview with people from Pennsylvania mentioned prayer. It really brings to "mined" the verse that says, "Neither height, nor depth nor any other power...can keep us from our Lord."

Thank you, Jesus. And thank you, Jeanette, for this wonderful post.

sommerset co. isn't far from where i am staying now, so like a few of you, i was glued to the TV watching it. They talked on the news here about wether the plane crash of sept eleventh could have possibly weakened the walls of the abandonded mines. thought that was an interesting thing to think about. I was just happy to see the last guy come out and it was nice to see a happy ending for a change.
