AOL are really getting on my nerves. I live in UK and it seem that at least two or three times a week when I log on I am faced with a load of crap about "How to cheat the scales." "How obese are you," or "Check how many calories you use."
It gets on my nerves!
The obese people in question are not going to be logging on the stupid AOL or taking any notice. It seems to me that they are making vulnerable, insecure people PARANOID about their weight & size.
Trying to recover from anorexia or any eating disorder is bloody impossible, when the "normal" world is disfunctional, obsessed with physical beauty, youth and perfection.
It's all about looking "RIGHT" and there is far too much pressure on being perfect.
