Locks of Love

A post about organ donation got me thinking about this....has anyone ever donated their hair to :love Locks of Love :love?
You have to have relatively long hair, as the hairdressers cut off ten inches to make wigs for cancer patients. Check at local hair salons if you're interested. I'm growing mine out now, would be interested in anyone's stories!

I :love this organization but haven't ever donated. I haven't had my hair cut since i was ten and its rather long now, which i love. BUT if i ever do get my hair cut short, i'm definitely going to donate it to Locks of Love. :love

i haven't donated before either but my sister did last summer and i've wanted to but it takes my hair forever to grow ten more inches!! i think that if anyone with long hair's going to cut it, they should donate it to :stars locks of love :stars it'd be even cooler if hairdressers cut off ten inches from someone, if they'd donate it right away even if the person didn't say anything. hmm...there's an idea :winky

I have donated to Locks of :love twice. Once I donated twelve inches of hair and the other time fourteen inches. My hair is only to my shoulders now, so it will be awhile before I can donate again. :cheesy It's a wonderful cause!
