For me it's nice to have my boyfriend to support me, but it doesn't help me personally a lot. What it comes down to is if you :love yourself enough.
Others can :love you as much as they can possiibly can, but if you don't :love yourself none of that matters.
I thought when I met my boyfriend two years ago and told him about my ed everything would finally be over. At the time I saw him as my knight in shining armor who would rescue me from this horrible ed. The fact is I have to rescue myself.
He has done everything he can possibly to do. Unforturtunately all he has done for me didn't help me. I'm in a big time relapse right now and I haven't told him a thing. I'm sure he's not stupid and can tell, but as of yet he hasn't opened his mouth.
So what it comes down to is to depend on your inner strength to pull you through. (God I sound like a therapist or something :muhaha, maybe I should take my own advice)

ok first, you dont need a man. but if he's supportive and understanding of your ed recovery, he can be a huge strength to you because you know he will accept you and :love you regardless. some boyfriends are assholes though and will just make things worse. those are the kind we dont need!! like adrienne said, you have to do it for yourself. dont depend on a guy ok? good luck :clover

It really could work both ways. The important thing is that it's hard to love someone else when you don't love yourself first. (I learned that the hard way.) It's also hard to ALLOW someone to love you when you don't love yourself.
Think about this before getting involved in anything. :hugon mini maz :hugoff
