Did anybody follow the trial of Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel :usa, accused of murdering his neighbor Martha Moxley, back in the seventies when the two were teenagers?

I followed this very closely, and have read the two books on the trial, as I used to live in the same town as them. I used to babysit in their neighborhood.

I am so glad he was convicted. It's just a shame it took so many years.

So you followed the trial? I didn't at all, but was surprised that he was convicted. I guess because of his Kennedy connections. Over here :usa many look at the Kennedys as "royalty" pardon the term, and expect them to get away with anything. Don't get me wrong, I've not no problem with any of them. I was just :surprise that's all. It's good to hear from someone who followed the trial that the evidence seemed compelling. I'll be quiet now. :shy :shy :shy :shy

It's so funny that you brought this up! I knew you nannied there, but I wondered how far from them you worked!

I have followed the trial. I remember this case was on some documentary show, and that was like four years ago. I had wondered why they didn't investigate him more. He clearly was suspicious then! I am glad he is in prison. He deserves it. I also feel bad for him due to his upbringing, it doesn't change what he did though.

Hugs,
