:hugonpurple_tao:hugoff falun dafa is a system of enhancing the chi throughout the meridians and chakras in the body. It is practiced very widely in China but has now been outlawed and the members of the Falun Gong who practice it are being imprisoned. These are very subtle movements of standing comfortably with knees slightly bent and doing a specific set of arm movements while gently pushing up at the crown and pulling gently down toward the ground with the lower body thereby stretching and opening the spinal area where the chakras and main energy pathes are believed to be located. All this is done with a relaxed expression on the face to ensure that no straining is taking place. These patterns are repeated three times. Following this are some cleansing movements with the arms, and poses with the energy centres in the palms to activate the lower chakras and mediations. There are a series of chants or prayers said before each set, but I do not practice these. I believe it is something in these chants(prayers) which have got the order into so much trouble in China as the government there is atheist. You can, no doubt find a group in your area and there is no charge at all for practice with the group. You can try [url]http://www.falundafa.org/[url]...take care of you, and let me know what you think of all this....:love :dog
