[moved to Getting To Know You]

I am not a very good painter, so I could live without it, but I know we have some VERY creative and talented :fishy in the :bowl!

I am really terrible but I would love to learn.
I've created a few pictures in a Pollock-esque style. Those turned out ok...I was mainly just splashing paint where I felt it should go. It was so therapeutic!

My dream is to win the lottery, move to the ocean and write poetry and paint pictures on the deck of my beach house for the rest of my life. **sigh** :cheesy

:love,

I'm not great at it though. Drawing's more my thing.

.....ummmmmmmmmmmm hmmmmmmmmm? Do I like to paint???

YES! I :love to paint!

recently i have learned 'to say one thing that i love about myself.' (this is a monumental step for me)
I :love that i am a creative person. I can't imagine my life without art.

I used to paint a lot. I loved it!:love And I haven't done it in a while. It is a lot of fun though. It takes your mind off of things, even if you don't come up with a 'masterpiece' or if you're not really considered an 'artist.' I have done watercolor and some acryllic. Maybe I should get back into it. It is very calming.

I love to paint. I am slowly learning to oil paint. I have used mainly acyrlics because they are cheaper and my talent is minimal.

This lack of true talent does not stop me from painting, though. Lately, I have not had much time for such indulgence. I need to make some-time and paintings that is to what I refer.

Yep ... but I'm crap at it, so I don't! I'd love to learn though ... mum has been going to a Watercolour class for a long time ... but then, she's naturally a good painter and has been all her life! Me ... I can't 'do' colours ... I prefer the black and white of pencils :happy ... but I'd love it if I could do it!
