Any LDS Fishies out there?

I know of a couple LDS fishies swimming in the bowl, but just wonder if there are more there I don't know about!!!! For those of you who don't know, LDS is short for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints---better known as Mormons.

Thank you for posting. It is fun to meet others from the church as the ED thing isnt talked about all that much there. You have become a special friend and I hope we can continue to find those out there in the same position.

I wanted to reply - not cause i am mormon - currently - hmm - i guess i am well - i dont know anymore... but some missionaries recently visited me... and have stired up questions of my own religions/spritual beliefes...

why are male mormon missionaries known as elders, while their female counterparts are known as sisters? shouldn't they all be called elders, or referred to as brothers and sisters?

Elders is an office of the priesthood in our church. Woman don't hold the priesthood so they can't be called Elders....but that doesn't make their work as missionaries any different. THeir purpose and "job" is the same.
