One thing that I think everyone is agreement about, no matter what religion you subscribe to or where your spiritual beliefs fall is our desire to be kind, caring, compassionate people. I think that the hope to give something positive back to the world is great motivation to be good to ourselves, give ourselves proper nourishment and be gentle with ourselves if/when we slip up.

Every day, we have to possibility to practice kindness and it's amazing how even seemingly little acts of kindness can effect others. We've all gotten those email forwards that talk about how someone was so depressed and someone's smile and kind words stoped them from harming themselves (or other similar ones). Even a smile or a kind word to the man working at the post office or bank can make someone's day.

We are all so blessed and we all can do this, and of course, being healthy and well nourished makes it a lot easier to see beyond ourselves and take a broader world view.

So, for today, I promise to try and take good care of me so that I can in turn spread some positivity in the world. Anyone care to join me?

:peace and :love to you all!

i think we are all born with the right to take care of ourselves and the duty to take of the world around us.

i try to treat others like i would like to be treated (hard sometimes!!!!)

i feel that what i take from the world i should give back...not literally but more like if i am rewarded with abundence, i want to give back something....if that makes sense!!!!

hugonStarlightgirlie:hugoff Isn't it wonderful how much joy we can bring into someones day just by taking that extra moment to simply be pleasant!!!:cheesy.....I also find that at the end of a day where I have been aware of the effort that I just feel better about me too.....:peace :dog

Yup, I agree with you. Taking the time to be kind is beneficial not only for others, but for ourselves as well :supergrin.

Have a beautiful Sunday, guys!
