Alright, I've been going to a t for a while and really actively working towards recovery. I've b/ped four times this month! Thats really good for me...my issues are- I'm super annoyingly emotional- impatient moody and teary. I thought it was my depression issues or PMS, but Im figuring out a lot is due to recovery. Also, I think about food all the time still. I dont know how to stop. I just wanna be normal. I know Im eating enough- I dont know why I keep obsessing. Also, I still have a preoccupation with the way I look. Can I ever get better while I still have to work out four times a week? Isn't that a normal amount? I feel like its just being healthy but I've afraid Im still to obsessed. Any thoughts on my issues?

You may be very emotional, because remember, when you are engaging in ED behaviors, you are ignoring your feelings. So, when you stop doing them as much, your emotions start to come back. It shows you're healing!
Also, I still think about food a lot too, even while perfectly following my meal plan. This could be due to prior malnutrition. It may take a while for urges to slow down. I don't know what to do about that, so I'll check back in to see if any other fishies knew any strategies.
Do you have an N? I think that would be helpful.
For the preoccupation with the way you look, I would just try questioning yourself with your T because I'm in the same boat you are.
four times a week seems normal, but if you are afraid that you are obsessed, then it wouldn't hurt to cut back for now, until you feel that you're completely just exercising to be healthy.

i feel the same my emotions are messed up i have urges all the time and im really obssesed i work with a T but i wonder if she will ever help me get over this obssesion and body image issues i feel like it would take a head transplant to change the way i think or maybe id have to be reborn im not trying to be a black looker just wondering if the mind thats been thinking for so long these thoughts can actually be changed to believe otherwise
