I know that there's creative and fun to post poetry, but I look at the misc. board as my fishy home. So, the poem was more directed to them. But, it really is for all the fishys and my other long-distance friends (and some close relatives.)
"Owe You So Much"
If I had a nickel
For every time
You made me smile
I'd be rich beyond compare.
If I could come hug you
Every time
You dried my tears
I'd embrace you for a thousand years.
If the world could laugh
Every time
You changed my mind
Only giggles would be heard.
If a child could say more
Every time
You heard my silent cries
He'd know every word.
If only I could see you
Every time
You've helped me out
We would never have to part.
