getting mine pulled was about the most miserable experience of my entire life, :gimmehug. Although I had all of them done, under GA and it took two hours, the hospital I went to don't prescribe painkillers for this type of procedure, they suggest OTC ones, (if you can use those) and apart fromthat I just had to sleep a lot untill the pain got easier...

Thanks Freeway..
im doing really well today pain wise, it only hurts to open my mouth all the way.. but my face swelled up and i look like a chipmonk.. so im not having a good selfesteem day. that and i cant eat my food.. i can only eat soft/fluids, which arent my favorites..

i'm doing well tho with everything, with all considerations. what would really help is some soup and my bed, but i dont go home till tuesday.. oh, life is good.

Sorry about the pain from your wisdom teeth. I have had mine out but luckily it was easy and relatively pain free. I hope you feel better ASAP! Sending you many :gimmehug:gimmehug:gimmehug:gimmehug:gimmehug:gimm ehug:gimmehug:gimmehug:gimmehug:gimmehug:gimmehug: gimmehug:gimmehug:gimmehug

big *hugs* b/c i can so understand dental/mouth pain. i just had a root canal this past week (but the pain in the days before was excruitiating). and i consider myself to have a high threshold for pain, but dental pain is on a whole other level. i'm a total wuss. it hurts!!! I hope you feel better soon...

(just a small thing i thought i'd offer incase it helps...i found that holding cool water in my mouth (not swallowing it right off) helped my gum/tooth pain immensly when the painkillers weren't working)-maybe this could help you?)
take care ;)
