:idea Let's start a list of random acts of kindness! I just love these things- they always give me the warm fuzzies!
:sly Smile and make silly faces at babies.
:yay Tip big
:sun Say, "Have a great day!"
:muhaha Write your favorite joke on a notecard and give it to someone who needs a pick-me-up
Any others?

say please and thank you. hold a door open for a stroller or delivery person. smile, esp. at elderly people. if someone drops something, pick it up. if some one slips and falls pick them up. help someone push a stalled car off the road. help catch a pet on the loose. chablis

In a toll line, pay for the person behind you.
When people are crossing the street, smile and let them know that you are happy to wait for them (even if you aren't).
If you are in a "take a number" queue and a person who was waiting forgot to take a number, switch numbers with him when he does.

Cool post, Happyglow!
I love all the ideas :supergrin
:bounce Take the time to really look at people when you say hello, rather than the perfunctory glazed over glance thats easier to do
:bounce Let someone else win an unimportant arguement-especially one that has no conclusion anyway.
:bounce Give an honest complement to someone whom you appreciate but don't always get to remind
I'll think of more later, as this is a great idea-

:hugonhappyglow:hugoff Great thread :cheesy I love all your ideas and I would only add be take the time to say hello and ask after the people waiting on you in stores and show them you appreciate :winky them serving you at minimum wage. If an older person is crossing at a crosswalk or set of lights and they're veeeery slow :turtle and looking nervous or trying to rush to much walk beside them and strike up a little chat :singing so as to keep them company in what can be a very intimidating situation.......:love :dog

:stars if you walk by an expired meter, drop in a quarter so the person parked there does not get a ticket
:stars pick up the phone and tell a loved one how much you care about them
:stars help an elderly person across the street
:stars rather than bringing them home, give your leftovers from a restaurant to someone less fortunate...
