Support today? It's starting early...

Good morning everyone,
I was just wondering if I could get a word of encouragement this morning - the negative voices are starting pretty early today, and I already feel like crying. :trigger They always say the same thing - "You're too fat to have an eating disorder, no one believes you, you've gained so much weight and you don't deserve to eat anything." :trigger I also have a lunch meeting today and I'm pretty nervous about it (not the meeting, just the lunch!!!). So any support would really, really be appreciated. Thank you!!

I recently heard a great quote that made me feel a warm fuzzy:

"You must be at the end of your rope. I felt a tug."

So just know that there are people out there holding your rope for you and supporting you.

As far as your lunch, it's just one meal. Do the best you can. If it doesn't go as well as planned, then ok. We all have bad days. Just pick yourself up and get back on track.

Good luck with the lunch. Tell those voices to shut up. You are not too fat to eat, I don't care how much or how little you weigh. Everyone deserves to eat. You are a person with worth. Tell yourself that and fight those voices.

YOU noticed that you were struggling. YOU owned the struggle, and then YOU reached out. YOU listened to the encouragement and then YOU took it to heart.
