It isn't something you earn
It can't be bought in a store
It doesn't happen overnight
This; you have to work for

It may take all your courage
It may take all your strength
It's a path you'll have to forge
If you want to live your life

There is no medication
There is no quick fix
Sometimes, in order to win
You have to put up a fight

You have to climb the mountain
You have to do what's right
You have to want it for yourself
There's no other way around it

Wow! Are you in recovery hun? This poem, is so about the struggle and the fight we all have to go through to get better? Good job, wish I could say that I have pushed through these struggles, but I don't think I have. Thanks for sharing this poem.
