Ive heard this book has gotten
some real good reviews.
I've never read it myself so I was wondering if anyone else has and if they think it was good.

Hmm, I remember reading this in high school. I think it ends with her in the hospital, deciding to turn her life around. I don't really remember how that came about. As I said, it has been years, but it did not exactly ring true for me. Granted, this was before my ED. Also, unless it has been re-done, it is probably rather dated. Tell me what you think. I may go find it myself.
It's ok. Very readable adolescent book, but not very insightful. Alright for what it is though.

I'd stay away from it if you are easily triggered. There are lots of numbers in it,etc. The book focuses mostly on the girl's spiral into the eating disorder without mentioning much insight into her recovery. Like Feak says, it is what it is, but not a very inspiring recovery book, in my opinion.

I read the book also in my senior year of highschool... there are a lot of numbers.. not very recovery-oriented.. probably written for the non-ed population. it was alright, but nothing grand in my opinion
