I read this today and really recommend it. It's by Eve Ensler who wrote The Vagina Monologues :girly and is really short.

It's wonderful. I've sent a copy to my mother and my aunty who're both obsessed with their bodies and helped me a great deal with learning how to hate mine :ugh

YES! I absolutely adore Eve Ensler. Her work is so powerful. The Good Body was an amazing read. I got it on audio because she has such a great voice and presence. So good!! It's provacative and profound, just like The Vagina Monolouges and I would recommend it to the Fishies. :girly

This is a great book! I loved it! When I was IP last year, one of the things we did in group was to write and perform our own acts a la The Good Body. I love the way Eve Ensler writes, and I love it that she is helping people see that bodies shouldnt have to bear the burden of shame and disgust. Great book!!
