Has anyone read "Wake up, I'm fat" by Camryn Manheim?
I read this book several years ago and the thing that impressed me the most was Camryn's relationship with her mother. There are several scenes that hit close to home with me. One of them was when Camryn was addicted to crystal meth and lost a good deal of weight, and her mother said that she was happy about Camryn's weight loss.
Marilynn Wann might be better for facts and policy, but Camryn's story was deeply inspiring. When my mom saw the book on my shelf, she was speechless.
