lol, my list to take to the library is getting very long. But that isn't a bad thing. This sounds like it might be in a similar vain to the Chicken Soup for the Soul series of books? Anyway, shortish stories and poems etc seem like something my mind might be able to focus on at the moment considering my attention span resembles that of our goldfish. Hmmm...:fishy indeed

Hi There! I am actually one of the women who is featured in the book.. My story starts on page one-hundred-thirty-seven (I'm Jessica in Texas)

The book has a myspace page now, which I created and am in charge of, and there is a monthly e-mail newsletter, so sign up! At the website there is also an ED forum with messege boards... and I got great news from Andrea today that the book is going to be put in the Gurze Catalog :yay :cheesy :supergrin

I've read a good part of the book, and it is very inspiring.. While the book mentions NO numbers, it could potentially be triggering b/c it goes into people's lowest emotional bottoms, and how they worked their way up. There is a trigger warning at the very beginning of the page to ensure readers emotional wellbeing.

I think the GREAT things about the book was, that it was ALL in our own words.. We had no limit on how short/long our stories could be, however it was ofcourse reviewed time and time again by Andrea and the publisher to tie up any loose ends (no numbers, spelling, etc.) AND proceeds go to eating disorder awareness and prevention, and none of us got paid for anything, which is a main reason we all felt so blessed to feel a part of this project !! We did receive a free copy of the book and several letters in snail-mail and e-mail from Andrea during this time.

Andrea and I still keep intouch on a regular basis, and she is working on another project, so keep your eyes peeled for that one as well :winky
