My husband got me an MPThree player for Christmas and we've yet to figure out how the darn thing works. HELP!!!

It's a Sansa eTwo Hundred R Rhapsody. Cute little bugger....

Three questions for now:

:bullet How do you get a song to stop playing???? Where's the "off" button? And then how do I turn the thing completely off??

:bullet We've tried copying (burning? I don't even know the right terminology - gads) my cd's onto it. Here's what happens: we copy one cd, then try another, but the second one records over the first one. So we try a third cd. That one will copy over the previously copied one. We can't get more than one CD to "stay on"!

:bullet It came with a lot of crappy songs that I want OFF. How do I delete/erase those songs??

I need serious help. I went to their website, which was of NO HELP.

:supergrin Thanks!

My mpthree player same with a cd with software for it. Its the only way I can work the thing. Even then it has a lot of drop down menus with different option like : Burn cd, transfer file to Library, transfer to poratble device (the mpThree player). The only thing I can suggest is to go through all those menus.

On mine when its connected to the computer, I have to go through to one of those menus to get the computer to show the list of song on the player. From there I can click on the title of a song then delete to get the song off the mpthree.

I have no idea why it keeps kicking off other cd you tried to put on the player. THe 'off' on mine is weird I can hardly explain . Its sort of a switch. When I hit stop and the switch is in the 'off'setting it turns itself off in about ten seconds.

Hope this helps.

Sheesh! :ummm Sounds complicated, Purp!

My little nieces seem much more competent with technology than I do - maybe you can find a five year old to help you! :winky
