I'm looking into the Quakers at the moment. I've always been intrigued but have never really looked into it.

Are there any Quaker :fishy around? If there are I'd be grateful if you could share your thoughts/experiences of the Quakers?

I know a few Quakers. They are nice people. I've been to meetings in their halls from time to time. They believe in spiritual freedom and direct contact, so if that's what you believe too, then go for it. But carefully research it first, and don't join unless you're absolutely sure it's the right path for you. Good luck!!!

I went to a Quaker college, and I really enjoyed going to meeting. The community was very accepting and peaceful. I learned a lot about how to be the kind of person I want to from the people there.

See if you can find a meetinghouse near you to give it a whirl!

I grew up in PA knowing several Quakers. They are so accepting of people. I remember talking to one about my ED and I never met a more nonjudgemental ear in my life.
