Over the yars, I have found pets to be the best therapists of all . Growing up, I had a wonderful golden labrador - he was the cutest (I may be biased, but many have agreed with me ). He was the best therapist - he would listen to me, without making any rash statements. I knew I could trust him - he may have been able to understand me, but dogs have yet to master the English language , so no fears of him telling anyone that mattered ! He always knew when I was upset, he would come over to me and try to give me a hug and a kiss :ugh.
Over the years, animals have always played a big part in my life -be it dogs following me and my babe home, or cats adopting me, and also the horse riding lessons I used to attend. When I visited my aunt in the country, she always had a dog (eleven dogs at one stage), they would come running around the car. She always gives out about her "delinquents", but I know she has loved them all - even the one named Scamp (and her name was so adept) - she was a little rascal.
That's my story of my love for animals, and how they have helped me.
