PLEASE HELP ME...

I'm addicted to exercise. I run daily, and am now suffering with an injury. As a result, I've switched to the equivalent workout time on anexercise bike, but am still suffering with my injury. My final hope-i tried swimming, but this hurts my injury too !

I know i need to rest it...BUT I CAN'T! I don't seem to have the will/what it takes to rest it.

I know this is only prolonging the length of the injury, and that by resting it, i'll be able to return to exercising more quickly- but THIS DOESN'T SEEM LIKE AN OPTION.

I need some encouraging words as an incentive/to help me !

If I stop exercising, I feel as though I immediately put on weight, lose my muscle-tone and fitness, become heavier, will appear un-attractive,that this is the end-

I just simply can't contemplate not exercising- WHAT DO I DO???!!!

Welcome to the :bowl

You must rest that injury of yours as you could cause yourself permanent damage and never be able to exercise again.
Wouldn't it be better to rest up for a few days than risk it all for the sake of the ED?
Get a good book, stay online, phone all your mates and get them to come over - just take care.
