This is a happy post about the election! There are some not happy posts, and that is fine, but that is why I wanted to start this. I have done my happy dance YEA. I just about pulled an all nighter with my Dad to wait for the offical outcome.

:bounce FOUR MORE YEARS :bounce

I am an educated individual who spent five month last semester interning on Capital Hill and I am a Bush supporter!

No happy dances for the millions of family members who lost loved ones in a pre-emptive, illegal war waged by BUSH, YOU won't see any happy dances from the millions of gay family's and people that are having their HUMAN RIGHTS stripped from them, you WONT SEE any HAPPY DANCES from the poverty stricken MILLIONS OF AMERICANS< YOU WON't see any HAPPY DANCES from many minorities who can't even VOICE their opinon, YOU WONT see any happy dances from women's rights groups, women who need to have an abortion to save their lives, AND THE LIST GOES ON..

NO happy dances, here or anywhere close. ..

I could say the same thing about a number of things if Kerry won. You don't know what you said is true about everyone. For example I have an uncle who is gay, he and his partner voted for Bush. I am also pro-choice and I am still a Bush supported. So please stop making assumptions.

I started this so those who are Bush supporters can be happy together. There is nothing wrong with that. I did not try to spread my excitment in a post that was truely upset about the results. I know you have your opinions and that is fine, I respect that, so please respect mine.

I thought we could have a post for people who were in favor of Bush and want to celebrate.

Woot! I'm so happy. I went to sleep happy, rather than fearful. My brother and other military over-seas are so happy. They were celebrating. :cheesy

I'm not going to argue... but I too have the right to voice my opinion and I will.

Yeah, disreguard my other post :muhaha

Woot! I'm so happy. I was extatic last night and this morning. My mom woke m up hooping and hollering at like six or seven...I was just all "yay" and went back to sleep :muhaha

Lets not debate....it's over. Bush is in office. It's done.

I want my brother to e-mail me back! :muhaha Last night I wrote him this long ass e-mail with the play by play on the election, and wrote a little how recovery and school was going, and I wrote him again this morning....no reply :sad
Oh well....I konw he's busy getting ready to come home! I haven't seen him since July, and that was only when he was on leave, and I saw him at most three times, and he's been going throughout all of my treatment. :sad
I'm so proud of him though. He's so awesome and I'll forever look up to him for supporting our country and volunteering to go to war. Wow, I'm almost in tears, :muhaha I didn't know I had that much emotion, let alone towards my 'mean big brother' :muhaha

I am NOT being insensitive or judgemental, just honestly very curious. I am staunch democrat and hoping some other viewpoints might cheer me and my devastated state up.

Can you explain to me WHY you voted for bush? Please?

thank you for this post! i am a big bush supporter. i have this new sense of peace about me now that it is all over.:yay

as for :hugon jasella's :hugoff posts. this is one of two threads started in favor of bush. i think that the bush supporters deserve to come together in this post and share our joys. just because you are bitter about the election results doesnt mean that you should have posted what you did on this thread.

please, keep the bashing comments to yourself. this is no way to form a stronger america, or foster a SUPPORTIVE community here at s/f.

People telling each other to keep opinions to themselves is going to be EQUALLY treated as a reason to close posts here.
