I am currently camped out on the couch with the FOX News pre-debate show on :supergrin
I have to go to my trainer at seven. But I said that I was only going to show up if the radio could be turned to AM for the debate ... he agreed!

I just got done watching the debate. I thought John Kerry made some very good points, especially about nuclear weapons and how it's hypocritical for The United States to tell other countries that they cannot have nuclear weapons while we are developing new and deadlier weapons. What are everyone else's thoughts?

Where was George W. Bush anyway? He certainly didn't seem to be there at ALL. He (hopefully) hurt himself.

I was so glad that Kerry was able to express himself briefly and effectively.
My favorite part of the debate was when the two candidates had a chuckle about raising their daughters. I was so glad to see this, because everything about the campaign so far has been so negative from each candidate about the other.

I was impressed on how Kerry seemed far more Presidential and statesmanlike than "Dub-ya", especially when you saw "Dub-ya" in the cut-away shots. I thought Kerry was consistent with his beliefs unlike the media has been portraying him not to be. I also like what he stated about war supp. to be the last choice but "Dub-ya" went ahead and didn't make it the last choice. Kerry made an excellent-o point about if one makes a plan and the plan starts foiling one does have the right to change the plan. Bush did seem like he was so ready to stop the debate before it stopped as he fidgeted towards the end. And Kerry was man enough to actually apologize. Unlike other people. :ummm

I thought Kerry came out looking good. He covered his ass about being wishy-washy. It does take a bigger man to admit when he was wrong and then fix that wrong. Kudos.
I personally thought the debate was NOT a debate. They didn't debate with one another. It's waaaay too cushy for them, and waaaay too pre-planned.
But overall I'm glad Kerry came out looking better. And he got the last word!
